~Latest Ragdoll news~

We won't be attending many shows this Spring/Summer as we will be moving to a more suitable location by July 1, 2010. Please make note of the phone number as listed on the Contact Us page as that won't be changed.

March 2010
I was notified by Dog World Magazine that Dolly was listed as the Top Producing Komondor bitch for 2009, producing more champion puppies than any other bitch last year!

January 2010
Stevie and I went to the Erie, PA show weekend where she earned a Group 4 (her first one, at 2 1/2 years old) under Judge Steve Gladstone!!

October, 2009
On our way to South Dakota for the National Specialty we had a terrible accident where we flipped our travel trailer, totaling that and our van, forcing us to return home without attending the National OR breeding Dolly.

However, on the bright side, we are pleased to announce that Ragdoll Komondorok has 4 dogs in the Top 20 Ranking (Canine Chronicle, Breed Standings, Jan 1-Sept 30, 2009)

News!!

Annie is so pretty to watch, she is so balanced and light on her feet. I will finish her championship next year!! It  takes a special judge who can look past the coat and see the quality of the dog underneath that will appreciate Annie. This breed is SUPPOSED to be about structure and movement, not how long the coat is. Unfortunately, some judges will only put up a dog that has coat to the floor.
Being a show dog is fun...
but playing IS the BEST!!

Ch. Treslow's Walking Tall, "The Rock," won Best of Opposite Sex at the Dachshund Club of Greater Buffalo's Regional Specialty, September 27, 2008. Rock had not been shown since he finished his Championship last November in Syracuse. At his breeder's request, we entered him to support the club's specialty never knowing that he would beat many nice dog specials for this win!  I couldn't have the picture taken with the judge because of time constraints, Daegan was happy to act as judge for his dog's last win photo.  Rocky will be neutered soon and retired.
Nagyalma Simply Chaotic, "Annie," winning her long-due major under Judge Anitra Cuneo!  She only needs one more major to finish her championship and then she will be retired.
